OUR BIO:

COCONUT PLANTERS, melodic hardcore punk band from Italy, active since 2018, after the (re)meeting of old friends devoted to the 90s sounds of Fat Wreck Chords and Epitaph "who were able to churn out a handful of coherent, melodic and credible tracks in a short time" they say about us. The power of the sound is in the perfect fusion of drums and bass that creates the carpet for the captivating vocal melody and the fantastic solo guitar. Definitely out of the usual punk-rock schemes, Matteo's texts tell stories and do not boring us with the usual "I want this or that" to which we are used to.

Our first self-entitled EP was published in 2020 for "Flamingo Records" label from Genova and the physical copies (350 CD's) are sold-out, despite the promotion and the live launch have been blocked from the events connected to COVID-19, in december 2021 we published our firs LP "Upset Hopes" for the same label, in vinyl and CD, written during the COVID-19 lockdown, and in those last 2 years we start to play and promote it in our shows all across Italy and Europe, trying to recover the time lost with the lockdown. 16th july 2022 we played at the "Punk Rock Raduno 5" in Bergamo!

We offer a powerful punk-rock show with no cover, just our tracks, and we're still writing new songs that we're recording ASAP, meanwhile on 25 October 2023 we have released our last single and in April 2024 a limited edition of a music cassette of our live at Punk Rock Raduno!
